Big KH newsletter April 2020

Here is our latest newsletter – our 17th and one that comes to you in uncertain and troubling times, but times that also show the strength and resilience, love and care that are at the heart of our community of Kirk Hallam.

This newsletter comes with our thanks and our best wishes to you all. It included a summary of the community review we did last year and it includes the headlines for you of the new plan we are putting together and which should be launched in July.

Big Kirk Hallam’s 8th newsletter

Here is the latest newsletter from the Big Kirk Hallam partnership. A personal copy will arrive through the door for all residents and we hope you take a moment to read of the highlights and successes of your resident-led £ 1m ten year programme to make the area an even better place to live.

The front page is dedicated to Brian Cooper who has decided to stand down as chair having steered the early years. We thank him massively for all he has done and we are delighted he is staying on the partnership group.

There are also loads of success stories to enjoy and there is an outline of the new plan and the money proposed to be spent on community projects.

The partnership is very keen to hear from anyone wishing to get involved either by supporting activity or by helping run things through joining the partnership. Whatever you can bring – do get in touch with the plan co-ordinator, Jsan Shepherd: jsanbigkh
